Youth Points Gun At Other Juvenile And Pulls Trigger: Framingham Cops
The gun, which was found by the youth, was not loaded, police said.
FRAMINGHAM, MA — A youth pointed a firearm at another juvenile and pulled the trigger, the Framingham police said.
Officers responed to a report of a firearm found by a juvenile Fridau, the police department said in a social media post.
"During the investigation, which remains active and ongoing, officers learned that the juvenile located the firearm before any adults became aware of it," the post said.

"After picking it up, the juvenile pointed the firearm toward another juvenile and pulled the trigger," according to the post. "Fortunately, the firearm was not loaded, and no one was injured."
The police department said it shared the post "as a powerful reminder that firearms must always be stored safely and securely."

"Responsible firearm ownership includes ensuring that firearms are unloaded when not in use, secured in a locked safe or with an appropriate locking device, and stored separately from ammunition whenever possible," the post said. "Taking these precautions can prevent unauthorized access and significantly reduce the risk of a tragic accident."
