Youth at Wayside Campus Helped By $3,500 Grant From MutualOne Foundation

The money will be used to purchase sports and recreational equipment for the Wayside Campus gymnasium and to start a yoga program.

A recent $3,500 grant from the MutualOne Charitable Foundation will enhance the quality of recreational and therapeutic treatment for adolescents at the Wayside Youth & Family Support Network’s Wayside Campus in Framingham.

According to Marisa Rowe, Wayside director of development & marketing, the award will be used to purchase sports and recreational equipment for the Wayside Campus gymnasium, to cover youth fees for Town recreational activities, and to purchase a yoga program specifically designed for children with behavioral and emotional problems.

“The Wayside campus serves more than 600 youth each year, with the goal of successfully transitioning them back to a community setting with their peers and families,” said Robert P. Lamprey, chairman of the MutualOne Charitable Foundation. “We are pleased to support the Wayside Youth & Family Support Network in its efforts to make that happen.”
