10 Dates You Need to Know on the Grafton School Calendar

GRAFTON, MA — The 2016-2017 school year is almost here, and while students may be dreading it, the time has come to make preparations for the upcoming school year.

Students are due back in Grafton schools on Monday, Aug. 29, for K-9, Tuesday, Aug. 30, for grades 10-12 and Wednesday, Aug. 31, for pre-K. The return is immediately followed by another break, with no school Friday, Sept. 2, or Monday, Sept. 5 (Labor Day). Here are ten other dates that are of not for Shrewsbury students.

1. Sept. 29: half day
2. Oct. 10: no school, Columbus Day
3. Oct. 31: half day
4. Nov. 11: no school, Veterans' Day
5. Nov. 23: early release
6. Nov. 24-25: Thanksgiving recess
7. Dec. 1: parent conferences 7-12
8. Dec. 7: half day
9. Dec. 13: parent conferences K-6
10. Dec. 26-30: holiday recess
