Grafton Fine Arts & Music Festival is Saturday

The 2013 Grafton Fine Arts and Music Festival will take place Saturday March 23rd from 11 AM – 8 PM at the Grafton Municipal Center, 30 Providence Rd, Grafton, MA 01519.

This year’s 8th Annual Grafton Fine Arts and Music Festival committee hopes to draw a large crowd of artists, art aficionados, and those who enjoy art culture this Saturday, March 23rd, to the free festival.

Over 400 artworks will be on display, including prize-winning art in nine art categories and two age categories for children and youth. Children will receive prizes from 11 AM to 12 noon during a children’s and youth art reception, while the adult artist reception will take place from 6-8 PM, for which there is musical entertainment, drinks, and food.

This year, the festival will give away more artist prizes than ever before, which have been generously donated by our sponsors; by our major sponsor the Grafton Suburban Credit Union, and additional prizes by The Grafton Land Trust, Grafton Historical Society, and the Grafton Garden Club. The festival has also been sponsored by IPG Photonics, The Grafton News, Anzio’s Pizza, Art in the Common, Spirit of Wellness, Unibank and many other individuals and local businesses. We also thank Bushel and Peck for meeting our catering needs at the evening reception. Flowers have been generously donated by Floral Elegance.

This year’s festival will feature raffle items. Tickets will be sold at the festival and winners will take home gift certificates or prizes from local businesses, including: Wong’s, the Grafton Inn (overnight stay), Lakeview Pizza, Guys & Gals, Koopman’s, Anzio’s and a gift basket from the route 30 Grafton Crossing including items from Pecorinos, Anzio’s, and Holy Cow Ice Cream & Mini Golf.
