Grafton's Pack 107 Honors Local Cub Scouts

Grafton’s Cub Scout Pack 107 held its annual Blue and Gold Banquet at the Polish National Home on Sunday, February 10th.  Families gathered for an afternoon of fellowship and to celebrate Scouting Anniversary Week.  One of the highlights of the afternoon recognized the achievements of four Scouts in Pack 107 who earned the highest honor in Cub Scouting.  Ryan Davidson, Sam Martel, Ethan Martinath and Matthew Torres received the Arrow of Light Award, which is the pinnacle of a Cub Scout’s career and is the only Cub Scout award that may be worn on a Boy Scout uniform.  A special ceremony commemorated their transition from Cub Scout to Boy Scout.  In addition, special honors were given to Scott and Dawn Martel to honor and thank them for their commitment and dedication as leaders of Pack 107.  The afternoon concluded with entertaining skits performed by the Scouts as well as an educational program presented by Neal Bourbeau from the Higgins Armory Museum in Worcester.   To learn about Grafton Cub Scout Pack 107 and upcoming activities, please contact Cub Master Corey Davidson or Cub Committee Chairperson Tom Schelling at GraftonPack107@gmail.com.
