The North Grafton Elementary Schools’ (NGES) Parent Teacher Group (PTG) Board would like to thank everyone who came out and supported our 2013 Annual Fun Fair. This event is our largest event of the year for North Street and North Grafton Elementary schools and we are so grateful for the community support.
Thank you to all of our committee members, bakers, tennis tube stuffers, game coordinators, auction organizers, class basket donors, craft designers, face painters, nail painters, hairspray artists, food servers, NGES and NSS family sponsors, and all who helped make this event a success. Thank you also to our incredible administration and staff including Mrs. Plainte, Mrs. Poitras, Mrs. Mannion, Mrs. Flynn, Mrs. Tauras, Mrs. Thulin, Mr. Cammuso, Mr. Guglielmello and Dr. Cummings.

For the past three years Pepperoni Express has graciously donated the majority of food for sale in the cafeteria during the event. Over 1,100 slices of pizza were sold! New to the menu were fresh garden salads that added a healthy option this year. Goretti’s donated all of the hot dogs and buns for sale while Polar Beverages donated all of the soda. Target, Price Chopper, Walmart, Wegmans and Stop and Shop donated food supplies and beverages for kids, while Grafton Suburban Credit Union provided all of the bottled water. Grafton Liquors supplied the ice for indoor and outdoor concessions.
With over 100 volunteers, other local eateries and grocery stores stepped up to help without hesitation. Dunkin Donuts, Lake View House of Pizza, Grafton Pizza, Peking Garden and Pearl Cafe all donated large quantities of yummy food to help feed volunteers throughout the event and we thank them for their support! We’d also like to thank Anzio’s pizza and Lake View House of Pizza for their support of our Friday night pre-auction event.
In addition: thank you to Clare Garabedian and her Grafton Community Emergency Response Team (CERT)/Medical Reserve Corp. (MRC)for helping with parking; Dave Crouse, Grafton Highway Superintendent, Department of Public Works (DPW) for loaning us the necessary parking equipment, The Grafton Police department and Officer Harrington, Terry Therrien and Ridge Valley Stables for our pony rides, Andi the Clown, Tina Jacobson of Learning Express Westboro for her generous donation of prizes, DJ. Josh Briggs, Henry Agri's Kenpo Karate for their Karate Demo, A.S. We’d also like to add a special thank you to Kohls Millbury & Kohls Northborough for their generous sponsorship and support of volunteers as well as the Blackstone Valley Tech Honor Roll students and Grafton High Achieve students for volunteering at our event.
In addition, we’d like to thank the many generous donations from Grafton and surrounding town businesses and organizations, as well as the NSS & NGES Neighborhood /Friends & Family donations, without your support the auction and raffle wouldn't have been a huge success!
As they say, it truly takes a village to make these events happen and we appreciate everyone who donated, helped out or just came and enjoyed the event to help support our schools.
