Shalom Baby

Shalom Baby Comes to Central Massachusetts (Serving Worcester, Westboro, Northboro, Shrewsbury, Holden, Millbury, Grafton)

Know a Jewish or interfaith couple or single person who is expecting a child through birth or adoption? Do you have a friend, son, or daughter living in Central Massachusetts who might enjoy a welcoming connection to Jewish life?

Jewish Family Services/Worcester has launched its Shalom Baby program, sponsored through a generous grant by The Jewish Federation of Central Massachusetts. It offers new parents a “welcome to our community” visit by a member of our staff. Tracy Kaufman, our Shalom Baby Coordinator, will bring a gift tote which includes items for the new parent and child. Also included is information on local Jewish resources such as playgroups, Tot Shabbat listings, and information on PJ Library, a Jewish family engagement program that sends free, high quality Jewish books and music to families on a monthly basis.
