Bancroft Student Named National Merit Scholar
A Grafton student who goes to the Bancroft School in Worcester was named as National Merit Scholar.

GRAFTON, MA—The Bancroft School is full of brilliant students, but one student in particular has been named as National Merit Scholar by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation Thursday.
According to the foundation that awards the grants, the students are those “judged to have the strongest combination of accomplishments, skills, and potential for success in rigorous college studies.”
Recipients are chosen by a committee of college admission officers and high school counselors. The winners are granted a $2,500 scholarship.
