Blackstone Valley Chamber to Host Networking Breakfast

The Blackstone Valley Chamber of Commerce will host its first 'Ready, Set, Goal!' Network breakfast meeting on Thursday, April 6.

From Blackstone Valley Chamber of Commerce: The Blackstone Valley Chamber of Commerce is hosting its first “Ready, Set, Goal!” Network breakfast meeting on Thursday, April 6th 2017 at the Whitin Lasell Manor on 120 Hill Street at 7:30am. Presented by Saver’s Bank.

If you’re looking for a network of women who will educate and inspire you to go further in your career, then look no further! The “Ready, Set, Goal!” Network is a community of women coming together and growing together in the Blackstone Valley and beyond. Educational and inspirational speakers will be invited to engage with guests and provide insight on how to best improve your personal and professional lives. Meetings are scheduled to be held quarterly throughout the year with surprise mini-sessions in between featuring topics ranging from stress relief, balancing your busy lives, breaking the glass ceiling, how to successfully achieve everything you want in life, better communication skills, and much more!

The BVCC is pleased to welcome President of Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI), Laurie Leshin, who will speak to the guests about Inspiring Future Innovations. Laurie Leshin became the 16th president of WPI in June of 2014. Leshin brings to WPI over 20 years of experience as a leader in academia and government service, and an accomplished record as a space scientist. She combines a life-long love of learning and exploration with a strong track record of igniting action to advance critical institutions and programs. Please join President Leshin and the Chamber for an inspiration and insightful morning. A light breakfast, catered by Whittier Farms, will be served. Local women owned businesses featuring their products and information will be spotlighted.

As a member of the BVCC, the cost is $25 per meeting or $75 for a one year pass. For non-members of the BVCC the cost is $40 per meeting or $120 for a one year pass. Advertising opportunities are available for businesses throughout the Blackstone Valley. A vendor table is $50. Please contact the BVCC for other sponsorship rates and details.

The mission of the Blackstone Valley Chamber of Commerce is to promote the economic vitality of the Blackstone Valley, meet the needs of the Chamber's business members, while providing leadership on issues which impact the economy and quality of life in the Valley.
