A local Grafton family has been going through extremely difficult times! The father/husband has had a tumultuous time from pneumonia. The severity of the pneumonia known as BOOP had him admitted to the hospital just after Thanksgiving, in and out of coma while on a ventilator, and caused him to develop ARDS. From there, he developed TTP-HUS (an extremely rare blood disorder with combined renal failure) and suffered a stroke. After 121 days he returned home, but is still fighting. He is undergoing hemodialysis while waiting to get approved for a kidney transplant.

The medical bills and continued care is astronomical and utterly impossible for one woman with two children and a still very ill husband to handle.
