Where/When: 30 Providence Road. Friday, 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Why Go: Operation Friendship holds monthly dances, for Middle School aged kids only, during the school year. The doors open at 7 p.m. and the dance ends at 10 p.m.
Pricing: $7 includes a chance to win the door prize.

Where/When: , 55 W Main St, Westborough. Sunday, 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Why Go: This family concert is sponsored by "Together We Can Family Network," a program funded by the Massachusetts Department of Education and Care (administered by the YMCA of Central Mass-Boroughs Family Branch).
Pricing: Free.

Where/When: Northborough Town Hall Gym, 63 Main St., Northborough. Saturday, 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Why Go: For children in kindergarten through Grade 5. An evening full of playing gym and sports games, including jailbreak, basketball, pillow polo and soccer, among others. They can also make art projects or watch movies. Pizza is included.
Register early to save a spot or sign up at the door, space permitting.
Pricing: $30 for one child; $15 for each sibling.

Where/When: Mass Audubon: Broad Meadow Brook Conservation Center and Wildlife Sanctuary, 414 Massasoit Rd., Worcester. Saturday, 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Why Go: For children ages 3 through 5. A thematic hour of a story, an activity and a naturalist-led walk.
