Conservation Services Group Gives Energy Star Awards: National Grid's a Recipient
The group handed out awards to National Grid and others.

Conservation Services Group (CSG) in Westborough handed out the ENERGY STAR’s 2015 Awards for companies’ commitment to saving energy and protecting the environment through superior energy efficiency achievements.
The awards, presented by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), recognize organizations that are helping individuals, families and businesses save money by reducing energy in innovative ways including working with utilities to offer rebates to customers, creating more efficient products and launching efficiency projects, said the announcement.
“We congratulate our utility and energy clients on receiving the prestigious ENERGY STAR Award for their leadership and commitment to energy efficiency,” said Steve Cowell, Chairman and CEO of CSG, in the release. “We look forward to working with such worthy organizations for years to come to deliver savings and help protect the environment to enable a future with cleaner energy.”

CSG clients honored with an ENERGY STAR Award include the following organizations:
• Focus on Energy: For its comprehensive approach to delivering Home Performance with ENERGY STAR statewide in Wisconsin, and for its Energy Efficient Products programs.
• National Grid: For its comprehensive, multi-channel marketing campaign to educate its customers about energy efficiency through ENERGY STAR.
• New Jersey Board of Public Utilities (NJBPU): For its commitment to making ENERGY STAR the symbol of energy efficient products and practices for New Jersey consumers.
• New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA): For its administration of Home Performance with ENERGY STAR, ENERGY STAR Certified Homes, and Energy Efficient Products programs.
• PECO: For its commitment to promoting ENERGY STAR certified products.
• PSEG Long Island: For its prominent integration of the ENERGY STAR platform in its Energy Efficient Products and Home Performance with ENERGY STAR.
• Salt River Project: For achievement in the ENERGY STAR Certified Homes program.
• Southern California Edison (SCE): For building on over two decades of partnership where ENERGY STAR serves as a foundational pillar for its work to advance energy efficiency for the long term.
• SoCalGas: For its commitment to utilizing ENERGY STAR tools and strategies to reduce program costs and streamline implementation timelines while increasing the efficacy of its energy efficiency programs.
The ENERGY STAR 2015 Awards were presented in Washington D.C. at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel on April 20.
