Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University Announces Graduates

The Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University graduated 129 students at its 34th commencement ceremony on May 22, 2016.

Students studying a diverse range of topics - from veterinary medicine, public health, conservation medicine and laboratory animal medicine to the public policy dimensions of animals in society - received degrees at the ceremony. Of the graduates, two received doctoral degrees, nine received Master of Science degrees in conservation medicine, 18 received Master of Science degrees in animals and public policy and 92 received doctor of veterinary medicine degrees. Of the D.V.M. graduates, five also received master's degrees in public health and three received Master of Science degrees.

The graduates included:

• Siobhan J. Wright of Natick, MA. DVM
• Anya Price of Natick, MA. DVM Phi Zeta Honor Society, Honos Civicus Society

Across all schools at Tufts University, 3,600 graduate and undergraduate students were honored for their degrees during the school's annual commencement ceremony on May 22, which included a keynote address by Tufts' alumnus, award-winning film, television and stage actor, producer and comedian Hank Azaria.
