Does Traffic Need to Be Slowed at Grafton Center?

GRAFTON, MA — Has the traffic whizzing around Grafton Common ever made you nervous when you parked in the area, or tried to cross the street? For many, it's an issue, and the town is listening.

At the Board of Selectmen meeting this week, representatives showed a plan to reconfigure parts of the common to slow down the traffic, reports The Grafton News.

Momentum is being made on the design, and a newer, and lower, figure of $215,000 makes the project more attainable. The reconfiguring would include narrowing lanes, adding grass around the monument and in front of the Grafton Inn.
