Dominican from Lawrence Arrested for Trying to Obtain License in NH: State Police

Numerous teens arrested; Grafton, Stoneham, Weymouth residents charged with DUI; Quincy, Milford, Worcester residents face drug charges.

CONCORD, NH — An illegal alien from the Dominican Republic was arrested last week after allegedly attempting to fraudulently obtain a New Hampshire driver’s license, according to state police. Jose Pimental-Gonzalez, 41, pictured left, of Lawrence, MA, was arrested on March 31, 2017, for unsworn falsification, prohibitions of a driver’s license and tampering with public records.

At around 10 a.m., the Salem DMV called the New Hampshire State Police to report a man who was believed to be using fraudulent documents to obtain a New Hampshire driver’s license, according to Det. Sgt. David McCormack of Troop G. The man was reportedly identifying himself as Jorge A. Bonel-Oritiz of Salem.

“Troopers made contact with the male and determined he was utilizing a false identity,” McCormack alleged. “Troopers also discovered that he had another identity in the state of Massachusetts.”

With the help of the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, troopers were able to find out the man’s true identity. During the course of the investigation, they also reportedly discovered that Pimental-Gonzalez had been in the United States for about 13 years.

Pimental-Gonzalez was arrested, refused bail, and is being held at the Merrimack County House of Corrections. He was arraigned on Monday.

ICE placed a detainer on Pimental-Gonzalez for deportation proceedings, according to the report.

Troop G troopers were assisted by ICE Agents Anoli, the NH DMV, and the Saugus MA Police Department.

Patrick Baxter, 22, of Billerica, MA, was arrested at 1:55 p.m. on March 18, 2017, for controlled drug; controlled premises where drugs kept on I-95 South in Portsmouth.

Anthony Dilone, 30, of Lowell, MA, was arrested at 11:21 p.m. on March 24, 2017, for DUI on I-293 near Exit 6.

Christian Maganzini, 27, of Stoneham, MA, was arrested at 8:23 p.m. on March 18, 2017, for DUI on I-93 South.

Thomas Donahue, 52, of Grafton, MA, was arrested at 8:30 p.m. on March 19, 2017, for aggravated DUI-passenger under 16 and DUI on Springer Road in Hooksett.

Raymond Richard, 73, of Weymouth, MA, was arrested at 12:40 p.m. on March 18, 2017, for DUI and open container on I-93 South in Concord.

Carson Valino, 20, of Marshfield, MA, was arrested at 8:51 p.m. on March 17, 2017, for speeding – 21+ mph over 65 mph and transporting alcohol by a minor on I-89 South in Hopkinton.

Andrew Marrotte, 23, of Westfield, MA, was arrested at 9:35 p.m. on March 18, 2017, for possession of a controlled drug-marijuana on Route 24 West in Tamworth.

Courtney Gallati, 20, of Worcester, MA, was arrested at 12:10 a.m. on March 18, 2017, for controlled drug: controlled premises where drugs kept on Route 16 in Tamworth.

Kelsey Fligate, 20, of Milford, MA, was arrested at 9:30 p.m. on March 17, 2017, for possession of a controlled drug-marijuana on Court Street in Laconia.

Henrique Pereira, 19, of Quincy, MA, was arrested at 4:55 p.m. on March 13, 2017, for operating without a valid license and transporting drugs in a motor vehicle on Route 16 in Tamworth.

Maria Diorio-Dwyer, 58, of Scituate, MA, was arrested at 10 p.m. on March 18, 2017, for DUI, reckless operation, and yellow/solid line violation. She was arrested on Route 104 West in Bristol.

A Rockport, MA, 17-year-old was arrested at 9:45 p.m. on March 16, 2017, for speeding – 21+ mph over the 70 mph speed limit, possession of a controlled drug-marijuana, and possession of tobacco products by a minor on I-93 North in Ashland. Also arrested was Pierce Strumpf, 19, of Rockport, MA, for possession of a controlled drug-marijuana.
