CPR/AED Training for Adult, Child and Infants

The Community Nursing Association of Grafton and the are offering this course for those "who wish to learn rescue breathing, obstructed airway and CPR skills for the adult, child and infant as well as basic first aid.

"This CPR course is a modular course that teaches you how to recognize and treat life-threatening emergencies, including cardiac arrest and choking for adults, children and infants. Participants also learn to recognize the warning signs of heart attack and stroke in adults and breathing difficulties in children. You will also have hands on practice, demonstration and training in the use of an Automated External Defibrillator."

The classes will be held in the training room on the first floor of the fire station. The $20 enrollment cost includes training materials and certification cards and the balance of the cost will be paid for by the Community Nursing Association of Grafton. To register, call the Board of Health Office at 508-839-5335 ext. 119 or visit the office. Checks should be made payable to the Town of Grafton.     Deadline for registration and payment (non-refundable) is Aug. 12. This training is for Grafton residents only and registration is required.
