Enjoy a festive music celebration at Apple Tree Arts’ Faculty & Friends Concert.
"We invite everyone to take a break from the cold weather and enjoy a special concert that includes a variety of music performed by the faculty, staff and our friends for all to enjoy," said Donna Blanchard, executive director of Apple Tree Arts.
Broadway tunes, classical and gospel music will be featured. The Community Chorus will perform several Broadway tunes directed by Ms. Blanchard and accompanied by masterful pianist Tina Ho. Pianist Awata will play a Chopin Polonise. “Hey Soul Sister” by Train will be performed by the “Cool Hand Ukes” group which includes Education Director Jan Barlow, Patty Brown, Early Childhood Educator Vicky Vitello, Guitar Instructor Tim Gruntman, Brass Instructor Russell Jewell and Donna Blanchard.

The flute choir under the direction of new faculty member Amy Carroll will play Mozart’s "Turkish March" and "Ave Verum Corpus." Ms. Carroll also performs a Doppler flute duo with flute choir member Katie Farrington. Ms. Carroll is well-known for her performances with the Claflin Hill Symphony Orchestra and Claflin Hill Summer Winds.
A variety of music will be performed by vocalists. Vocal teacher Stephanie Sarkisian and Theatre Arts Director Lisa Scarlett will sing selections from "Les Miserables" and "Evita."

Apple Tree Arts is a community arts school located in Grafton. Founded in 1989, the nonprofit 501 (c) 3 organization has grown to serve over 1,000 children and adults annually with early childhood music classes, group keyboard lessons, private music and voice instruction, ensembles, theatre arts programs and concerts.
