The Community Nursing Association of Grafton and the are offering this First Aid Training course, which "includes essential information and training in the first-aid skills recommended by OSHA, all in a format that can be delivered in a single day. This course teaches rescuers to effectively recognize and treat adult and child emergencies in the critical first minutes until emergency medical professionals arrive. The course is modular to meet the needs of a specific workplace or for any community or family needs. The core module includes: general principles, medical emergencies and injury emergencies for first aid."
The classes will be in the training room on the first floor of the fire station. The $20 enrollment cost includes training materials and certification cards and the balance of the cost will be paid for by the Community Nursing Association of Grafton.
To register, call the Board of Health Office at 508-839-5335 ext. 119 or visit the office. Checks may be made payable to the Town of Grafton. Deadline for registration and payment (non-refundable) is Aug. 12. This training is for Grafton residents only and registration is required.
