Grafton History Day to End on Jazz Note

Jazz combo Double Take will close the show at the UUSGU concert Saturday afternoon, with a mix of classics and new compositions.

The band is a blend of seasoned professionals and emerging young stars, featuring Upton music teacher Bob Nicoll on piano, Barry Hall on bass, Paul Tomashefsky on trumpet, Jim Scardsdale and Avery Hall on sax, Rachel Kaufman on flute, and Howard Kaufman on drums.

The performance will cap an afternoon concert showcasing talented young local bands and solo musicians, rounding out a full day of living history, art and entertainment on and around Grafton Common.
