North Grafton Elementary School To Host 22nd Annual Fun Fair

North Grafton, MA (April 2, 2012)North Grafton Elementary School (NGES) is pleased to announce its 22nd annual Fun Fair on May 12 at NGES 46 Waterville Street, North Grafton starting at 10:00 a.m.  The Fun Fair will entertain families with games, pony rides, bounce houses, paint your own pottery, crafts, face painting, DJ music by Josh Briggs, Balloon sculpting by Andi the Clown, Interactive stations from Best Buy and food generously donated by Pepperoni Express, Swirls and Scoops and other local businesses. Proceeds from the event will fund educational enrichment programs, guest speakers, and additional teaching tools for students including the arts, sciences, music and mathematics.

This year’s Fun Fair will feature a variety of exciting silent auction and raffle items from Grafton businesses, individuals and non-profit organizations such as: Apple Tree Arts, Blackington Furniture, Dance it Up, DeKroon Salon, Floral Elegance, Gibson Kennel & Natural Pet, Grafton Inn, Grafton Country Store, Grafton Soccer, Highfields Golf & Country Club, Jamie Wexler Photography, Lucente Jewelers, Pecorino Cheese Shop, Pirate Cycles, Spirit of Wellness, Stop N. Shop, class baskets donated by our NGES families and more.

 

Other local businesses and organizations that have donated for the event include: Best Buy, Calderon Landscaping, Camp Woodhaven, Central-Mass. YMCA, Cheesecake Factory, Clean & Green Car Wash & Detail Center, Cocobeni Confections, Davis Farmland & Mega Maze, Eric Carle Museum, Epiphany Boutique, Frauches Cleaning, French Bouquet, Hanover Insurance Company, Massachusetts Gymnastics Center, Roller Kingdom, PF Changs, Piel, Ron Rosentsock Photography, Publick House, Salon Sogno, Shake Fitness, Shrewsbury Health & Racquet Club, Wachusett Mountain, Vienna Restaurant & Historic Inn, Whitinsville Wellness Center, Wegmans, Westborough Tennis & Swim Club, and many more.

 

In addition families will have the chance to win Boston Bruin memorabilia, Boston Red Sox tickets and memorabilia, a gift certificate to David Burke Prime Restaurant at Foxwoods Casino, Golf lessons from Pro Golfer Jim Fenner, Newport Mansion Tours, New England Patriots memorabilia, New England Revolution Tickets, Providence Children’s Museum Tickets, Storyland passes, Walt Disney World Park Hopper tickets and more.

“Our Fun Fair is our biggest fundraiser of the year and we could not do it without the generous support of our local businesses, NGES students and families, and the faculty and staff of North Grafton Elementary School,” said Lynne Everling Co-Chair of North Grafton Elementary Parent Teacher Group.  “Not only do the children and their families benefit directly from our Fun Fair, but they also have an opportunity to be an active part of the community-wide involvement that is required to produce the event.”
