Audiences will enjoy this funny musical spoof about the fall season with a lively cast of 20 young students. The action centers on what happens in the forest when the big old oak trees start dropping their acorns and nuts. The actors portray different types of nuts, animals and trees.

The show is co-directed by Lisa Scarlett, theatre arts director and Laurie Baker, theatre arts and early childhood music teacher. The duo have worked together on many plays including “Beauty and the Beast,” “Show Choir” and “The King and I.”

Several students are working on the production. Lauren Baker and Noelle Scarlett are assisting with stage management. Apple Tree Arts’ theatre art intern, Aaron Bissell is helping with the promotion of the show and designed the marketing flyer.
Parent volunteers are developing the marquee, creating star grams and organizing refreshments.
