Join UMass Memorial Medical Center at a free event to learn about the benefits of robot-assisted surgery for conditions such as gynecologic cancer, fibroid removal and pelvic prolapse repair.
Today, robotic gynecologic surgery is now an option for a growing number of women. Procedures that once required open surgery and a long recovery, such as hysterectomy, can now be performed through a few tiny incisions – or no incisions at all. And recovery times are much shorter.
At the event, you’ll hear from our physicians, who are among the most experienced robotic surgeons in Massachusetts, and you’ll have the chance to test drive a da Vinci Surgical System robot.
