Dr. Allan Hughes has that rare ability to connect immediately with his listeners. As a chiropractor, he uses meditation with his patients for stress relief. However his professional skills also include the performing arts in both theater and broadcast media, which enable him to present his topics in an engaging way, holding the attention of his audience. In his presentations, Dr. Hughes focuses on the reasons for meditating how it relates to everyday life, the theory of meditation, and the many benefits meditation brings. Ten minutes before the close of his program, he gives his audience an opportunity to meditate using a simple, powerful technique called Jyoti meditation. Dr. Hughes has presented programs and workshops at hospitals, health expos, libraries, bookstores, businesses, schools and colleges around New England. He has been a student of meditation for over thirty years.
