Former Library Branch Houses Thrift Shop
Unique finds for less can be found at thrift shop.

The Grafton Thrift Store has made a new home for itself at the former South Grafton Library branch.
Since December of 2009, the shop has been providing loyal customers with low-priced secondhand goods ranging from apparel to books to furniture, jewelry, gadgets, toys and more.
The shop is a non-profit organization run by the Evangelical Congregational Church of Grafton. Because the shop is open only two days per week, it is very busy during operating hours.
No one is unaware of the fact that American's have experienced a reduction in overall income over the past couple of years. Thrift, or secondhand, shopping has been around for decades, but in this recession these frugal-friendly business really begin to thrive.

In this economy, consumers are looking to save as much money as possible, but that doesn't necessarily mean that they want to give up their favorite brand-name apparel or quality home goods.
Another way people can save, and even make, money, is through consignment stores. At these locations, people bring in their old goods. Once those items are sold, the person makes a profit off the sale.

There are different types of secondhand stores. Most people are aware of the Salvation Army, which is conveniently in many communities. city. There is also Savers, which follows the same donate-and-purchase for a low-price method.
The Grafton Thrift Shop is located at 71 Main St., South Grafton and is open Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Donations can be brought in any time during operating hours.
