GHS Boys LAX Reaches Sectional Final

The Grafton High School varsity boys lacrosse team will play for the 2013 Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association Boys Lacrosse Central Division 2 championship on Saturday.
Grafton defeated Shrewsbury, 7-3, in a semi-final game at Tuesday night at Foley Stadium, according to the tournament website.
Grafton will face St. John's in the sectional finals Saturday at 3 p.m., also at Foley Stadium. St. John's defeated Algonquin, 8-6, in a semi-final Tuesday night.

Grafton finished the regular season with a 16-3 record, and is seeded second in the 17-team tournament. St. John's (15-3) is seeded first.
Meanwhile, the Grafton High varsity softball team will play Hudson in a 2013 Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association Softball - Central Division 2 semi-final game at 7 tonight at Worcester State University.

The winner advances to Saturday's sectional final, also at Worcester State, against the winner of Wednesday night's Notre Dame Academy-Leicester semi-final game.
Grafton finished the regular season with an 18-2 record, and is seeded fourth in the 13-team tournament.
