Erin Kapurch of Grafton has started her freshman year at American International College in Springfield. Kapurch, a graduate of Grafton Memorial Senior High School, is a physical therapy major.
Colin Bacchiocchi of Grafton joined the Boilermaker community by participating in the annual Boiler Gold Rush program at Purdue University's West Lafayette campus.

The mission of Boiler Gold Rush is to orient new students and their families during their transition to Purdue by creating a fun and stimulating environment, providing access to opportunities on Purdue's campus and in the Lafayette/West Lafayette community, and by offering meaningful activities and leadership opportunities to encourage student success.
Elena DiTullio of Grafton was named to the dean's list for the Spring 2012 semester at Quinnipiac University. To qualify for the dean's list, a student must earn a grade point average of at least 3.5 with no grade lower than C. Full-time students must complete at least 14 credits, including 12 that have been graded A through C in a semester. Part-time students must complete at least six credits during a semester to be eligible.
