GRAFTON, MA — Grafton High School has named its new director of counseling.

Becky LaRoche joins the district after 23 years at West Boylston Middle/High School, where she worked as a middle and high school counselor and served as the counseling department’s program leader for the past 11 years, according to a school announcement.

LaRoche said building strong relationships with students and families has been central to her work and contributes directly to student success.

“I am truly looking forward to getting to know the students, staff and families of Grafton,” LaRoche said. “I can’t wait to work together to support our community.”

LaRoche lives in Leominster with her blended family of seven and their dog, Midas. She enjoys hiking, biking, running, skiing and spending time outdoors.
