Grafton Hosting Re-Use And Recycling Event
Grafton is teaming up with neighboring towns to recycle and reuse items for charity and to keep the environment clean.
GRAFTON, MA — If you're cleaning out the closets at home and looking for a place to take your reusable/recyclable goods, bring them to North Grafton for an upcoming recycling event. WE CAN, or the Worcester County Community Agricultural Network is hosting and event on Saturday to collect and recycle items from residents.
The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University, 201 Westborough Road, North Grafton. WE CAN is hosting the event alongside the towns of Grafton, Westborough, Northborough and Shrewsbury.
The event will collect items for reuse, including blankets and pillows to be donated to veterinary clinics and the epilepsy foundation. Other items will be collected for recycling such as mattresses and box springs for $30 per unit.
