Grafton Man Charged With Enticing Child for Sex, Other Charges
A Grafton man allegedly 'posed a child in a lascivious state.' He pleaded not guilty on Tuesday.

GRAFTON, MA—A Grafton man is facing charges that he posed a child in a lascivious state and enticed a child under 16 for sex or violence, announced Worcester County District Attorney Joseph D. Early Jr.
The 71-year-old John G. Sousouris of Robert Circle, Graftonm was arraigned in Westborough District Court this week on several charges including aggravated indecent assault and battery on a child under 14. Sousouris was also charged with posing a child in a lascivious state and enticement of child under 16 for sex or violence. He pleaded not guilty before Judge Vito A. Virzi on Tuesday.
Assistant District Attorney Cheryl Riddle requested $100,000 bail, and the judge ordered Sousouris held on $50,000. If the defendant were to post bail, Judge Virzi set conditions of his release: stay away and have no contact with all children under 18; surrender his passport; no internet access; cannot possess a firearm and must surrender firearms in his possession; and GPS monitoring, said the press release.

His case was continued to August 9 in Westborough District Court.
Sousouris was arrested after an investigation led by Sgt. James C. Crosby of the Grafton Police Department.
