Grafton Police: Runaway; Vandalism; Two Arrests; Road Rage

The following are excerpts from the Grafton police log. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Sunday, Oct. 5

  • At 12:23 a.m., police responded to a suspicious auto on Railroad Court
  • At 10:24 a.m., vandalism was reported, Hitchings Road
  • At 5:15 p.m., a car crash happened at Deerholm Street and Brigham Hill Road. No injuries.
  • At 7:43 p.m., a pet was found, Messier Street

Monday, Oct. 6

  • At 9:06 a.m., police responded to suspicious activity, Westview Street
  • At 8:17 p.m., an incident of road rage was reported, Worcester Street

  • At 8:16 a.m., police responded to flooding, Countryside Road
  • At 9:45 a.m., police responded to an assault, Institute Road
  • At 2:11 p.m., police responded to a report of larceny, Ceeper Hill Road

Wednesday, Oct. 8

  • At 9:58 a.m., police responded to a report of harassment, Providence Road
  • At 3:02 p.m., police responded to a disturbance on Cortland Way
  • At 4:25 p.m., police pulled a vehicle over on Worcester and Bridge Streets. Alan W. Rowden, 31, 8 Thayer Pond Drive, Apt. 5, North Oxford, was arrested and charged with driving with a revoked registration, uninsured motor vehicle, driving with no inspection sticker

  • At 7:15 a.m., police responded an accident involving an animal, Nantucket Place
  • At 12:12 p.m., police responded to a B&E into a vehicle on Providence Road

Friday, Oct. 10

  • At 9:15 a.m., police responded to a report of a suspicious person on Snow Road
  • At 3:53 p.m., police pulled a vehicle over on North Street. Raymond Tiernan, 55, 63 Providence Road, Grafton, was arrested and charged with unlicensed operation of a MV, speeding

Saturday, Oct. 11

  • At 1:28 p.m., police responded to a car accident at Providence Road and Harding Street. No injuries.
  • At 9:36 p.m., police responded to a reported disturbance (loud noise) on Crosby Road
  • At 8:52 p.m., a runaway was reported, Institute Road
