Grafton Votes On Restoring Library Columns, Adjusting Budget And Pipeline Resolution: Special Town Meeting 2017

GRAFTON, MA—Grafton's special town meeting is coming up and registered residents will be able to vote on major town issues included in 15 warrant articles. Here's a breakdown of some important subjects that will be covered at this year's meeting.

The meeting will begin on Monday, May 8, starting at 7 p.m. at Grafton High School.

Here are some of the issues/warrant articles covered in the special town meeting:

  • Article 1 looks to adjust the FY2017 budget
  • Article 2 focuses on balancing the snow and ice budget
  • Article 6 is for purposes of funding the FY2017 unemployment liability
  • Article 10 would see if the town will fund $10,708 to restore columns at the library
  • Voters would adopt the pipeline resolution for voting yes on Article 15
