Greater Worcester Community Foundation and UniBank Support Blackstone Valley Emergency Service Personnel
Applications for the UniBank September 11th Emergency Personnel Education Fund now available
(Worcester, MA - March 4, 2015) The Greater Worcester Community Foundation is now accepting applications for the UniBank September 11th Emergency Personnel Education Fund. Organizations that deploy emergency service teams in Blackstone Valley towns have until April 1, 2015 to apply.
The fund was created in 2002 by UniBank to honor the first responders to the September 11th tragedy by helping local emergency personnel in the Blackstone Valley become better prepared. Emergency services teams in the towns of Millbury, Grafton, Northbridge, Upton, Hopedale, Mendon, Blackstone, Millville, Uxbridge, Douglas and Sutton are eligible to apply for grants up to $1,000.
Applications for the UniBank September 11th Emergency Personnel Education Fund should be submitted via the Greater Worcester Community Foundation’s online application system. Questions can be directed to Pamela B. Kane at (508) 755-0980. Grant applications will be accepted through April 1.
