Habitat for Humanity MetroWest/Greater Worcester announces that applications are now available for four condominium units in Northborough, MA. The four condos will be in two separate homes, located at 33-35 and 37-39 Main St, and were previously owned by Trinity Church. This rehabilitation project, the largest of its kind undertaken by the affiliate, will provide affordable homeownership opportunities to four families. The complex will have two 2 bedroom units, one 3 bedroom unit and one 5 bedroom unit. One 2 bedroom unit and the 3 bedroom unit are handicap adaptable, should an applicant family require it. Units will be sold by lottery to qualified applicants.
Habitat for Humanity’s mission is to build homes, community and hope. One of its goals is to provide an affordable avenue into long-term homeownership through a partnership with individuals and families who fall between 30%-60% of area median income and do not qualify for other homeownership programs.
