In celebration of International Archaeology Day, the library will host a talk on archaeology and architecture. Join researcher Eric Fahey from the Fiske Center for Archaeological Research at the University of Massachusetts Boston for a presentation of the latest work at Hassanamesit Woods in Grafton.
Mr. Fahey will discuss how analysis of Sarah Boston's cellar contributes to a better understanding of this Nipmuc woman's life and the implications for a broader understanding of Indigenous Archaeology. This presentation has an in-dept focus and if you enjoyed Dr. Steve Mrozowski's talk at the Historical Society on September 26 about site artifacts, Mr. Fahey's talk will also be of interest. The presentation by Mr. Fahey is free and open to the public.
