Heavy Rain, Flooding, Thunderstorms in Grafton Through Weekend

The National Weather Service issued an alert that there is potential for flooding in the area.

It’s already started, and looks like Grafton is in for a lot of rain Friday. But the rest of the weekend, and week, is looking worse.

The National Weather Service issued a ā€œhazardous weather outlookā€ statement for the area that indicates that the rain will strengthen Saturday through Thursday.

There will be a moderate risk of heavy rain and poor drainage flooding with showers and thunderstorms on Saturday, with an isolated severe thunderstorm possible.

The risk continues, says NWS, of showers and thunderstorms Sunday through Tuesday.
