“Inside Edge” School Program Debuts On Grafton Community Television
GRAFTON: Grafton Community Television debuts a new school interview program called “Inside Edge.”
Hosted by Ken Grew and produced by Kris McMullin, the program introduces personalities - administrators, teachers and students from the Grafton schools. The first programs of the series feature interviews with coaches and players involved in Grafton High School sports.
Inside Edge runs on Grafton Community Television’s Educational Channel - Charter Channel 194 /
Verizon Channel 32, can also be viewed on GCTV’s Video On Demand http://graftontv.org/current/VoD.html under the Playlist heading “Inside Edge.”
Three episodes of Inside Edge have been completed - Episode One is a interview with Grafton High School football coach Chris McMahon and 2014 season captains Tom Krushinski, Brian Diaz, Dan Divirgilio and Joe Houston. Episode Two features a discussion with Grafton High School principal Jim Pignataro and Athletic Director John Patraitis. Episode Three talks about the Championship Women’s Softball program with Head Coach John Gemme, and players Kate Cardoza, Amanda Voellings, Makayla Ritizie and Meaghan Sawtelle.
According to Kris McMullin, GCTV Public Access Coordinator, “”Inside Edge developed as a means of promoting both Athletics and Academics in the Grafton School System. Grafton is fortunate to have some outstanding athletes and scholars. Our goal is really to promote their achievements in both areas, as well as their impact on the Community.”
Grafton Community Television provides programming on three distinct public access channels over the Charter Communications and the Verizon cable systems. Charter Channel 191 / Verizon Channel 34 provides general interest programming, Charter Channel 192 / Verizon Channel 33 broadcasts town government programming, and Charter Channel 194 / Verizon Channel 32 features school programming and high school sports events. The Grafton Community Television studios and offices are located at 296 Providence Road in South Grafton.
