Kids Explore the Great Outdoors
Summer program teaches youngsters adventure skills.

School is out for the summer. Now parents have to keep children busy.
Fin & Feather Sports Shop and the are here to help. They are offering an Outdoor Adventure Program, with five weeks of summer youth clinics.
On the banks of Lake Ripple, at the Grafton Lions Club headquarters on 68 Brigham Hill Road, children ages 6-14 will have the opportunity to experience the great outdoors.

From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, kids will get to fish, canoe, kayak (ages 9 and older) and learn about archery, animal tracking, maps and compasses, orienteering, wilderness survival, camping and first aid skills.

For the second season now, Fin & Feather Sports Shop has been sponsoring these clinics along with the bait, tackle, boats and equipment needed to let youngsters become outdoor adventurers for a week.
So parents, pack sunscreen, lunch, snacks, bug spray and sturdy shoes and send them off for a day of fun. Pizza lunch will be supplied on Fridays.
The clinic runs Tuesday through Fridays the following weeks: June 28 to July 1, July 19 to July 22, Aug. 9 to 12, Aug. 16 to 19 and Aug. 23 to 26.
Extended hours are available. The cost is $195 per child, per week.
