“We are
so proud of our local veterans and we take great pleasure in recognizing them
with this program,” said Linda Casey, Grafton Historical Society
President.  “These letters and stories reflect
the real experiences of those who served as well as providing a great picture
of life on the home front.”

Following
the formal reading, attendees will have the opportunity to read their own war
letters or tell a personal story about their war experience. There will be a
sign-up sheet for this purpose at the event.
