Elizabeth Reian Bennett, the first woman to play professionally as a Grand Master of the shakuhachi (Japanese bamboo flute) stands out as one of only a handful of western players trained in traditional Japanese music, and she will be coming to Tufts Cummings School in Grafton to perform. Join us on Saturday, April 12 at 3 PM in the Kohnstamm Conference Room of the Administration Building to experience Elizabeth's ability to "wordlessly conjur the human spirit out of thin air." This promises to be a very special performance. We hope to see you there.
