Steven M. Niemi, DVM, DACLAM will argue for a new paradigm for lab animal care because the current model is obsolete; as experimental endpoints become more complex and subtle, the usual practice of one-size-fits-all for animal housing and husbandry needs to be replaced with flexibility customized to individual investigators’ needs while still affordable and in compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.

Members of the public are invited to this free seminar. Joining remotely is possible - see website for details.
