Man Charged With Making Fake Bomb Threats at United Airlines

An Uxbridge man is facing charges.

Massachusetts State Police arrested an Uxbridge man on Wednesday evening for making a false bomb threat on a United Airlines flight scheduled to take off from Logan Airport.

Police boarded flight 439 around 6:50 p.m. after it was reported that a man made a statement in front of other passengers indicating that he had a bomb in his bag.

Troopers arrested Dennis Campbell, 55, of Uxbridge, for making a false bomb threat.

The flight was delayed for about 50 minutes.

Campbell was booked and held on $250 bail. He will be arraigned in Boston District Court on Thursday.
