Muradian Becomes First Candidate Certified for Ballot Access
Turns in more than 1,000 signatures to the Secretary of State's Office.
David K. Muradian Jr. recently turned in more than 1,000 signatures to the Elections Division of the Secretary of State’s Office in Boston, which made him the first certified candidate on the ballot for State Representative of the Ninth Worcester district, consisting of the towns of Grafton, Northbridge and Upton.
“While we still have a long way to go, to see such an outpouring of support has truly amazed me,” said Muradian. “The positive response so far is outstanding, and I look forward to continuing to get out to meet the constituents of Grafton, Northbridge and Upton, and earning their support moving forward.”
Muradian, who recently was endorsed by state Rep. George Peterson and Sheriff Lew Evangelidis, has served the constituents of the Ninth Worcester district while working in Peterson’s Office for the last seven years. Through his tenure in the State House, he has worked side-by-side with Representative Peterson to advocate on behalf of the citizens of not only Grafton, Northbridge and Upton, but of the Commonwealth, for a more open, transparent form of Government.
