New Grafton Officer Saves Life Off the Job
He wasn't on the job, but a new Grafton police officer jumped to the aid of another.

New Grafton police officer Mark Alves was off duty, enjoying a soccer game in Uxbridge, when he called himself to duty this week.
At the game, a man collapsed and Alves rushed to assist, reported the Grafton Times, and took over for a nursing student to perform chest compressions while the student called for help.
Alves told the Grafton Times that he happened to be at the right place at the right time and that learning CPR is important.
