New July Programs on Grafton Community Television
GRAFTON: Grafton Community Television presents several new public access programs during the month of July on Charter Channel 11 / Verizon Channel 34. Each of these programs debut during the week of Monday, July 1st. Check the GCTV Channel 11/ Channel 34 on air bulletin board for broadcast dates and times. The broadcast schedule can also be found at the Grafton Community Television website www.GraftonTV.org at the "program schedule" link and on the GCTV Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/graftontv.
Reading Aloud with Judith McConnell Each episode is a different story by renown children’s author Beatrix Potter, read by Judith McConnell who has been reading aloud to children in public schools for over 30 years.
Always There Michael Wilsker of Westboro, an official with in-home elder care agency is the host of the " Always There” show. Mr. Wilsker will be interviewing professionals who are involved in helping the elderly and their families deal with the many issues that families face when it comes to caring for an elderly member of the family.
Culinary Kid
The Culinary Kid is a cooking show starring Avery, a middle school student and gifted cook and baker. In the course of making her recipes she gives tips and techniques that are useful to both beginner and advanced cooks.
Love on A Plate A healthy eating cooking show, featuring chef Paulette DiAngi from Cape Cod.
Consumer Affairs A program provided by the Massachusetts Office of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulation and hosted by Barbara Anthony, State Undersecretary of Consumer Affairs.
Classic Adventures of Superman A series of ten minute shorts featuring everyone's original favorite superhero.
According to GCTV Lead Access Assistant Bob DeToma, "These new programs are just the first step of Grafton Community Television's new look this summer. We are excited about adding additional programs during the month of August to our schedule."
Grafton Community Television provides programming on three distinct public access channels in the Town of Grafton over the Charter Communications and the Verizon cable systems. Monthly schedules for Grafton Community Television Channels can be found at www.GraftonTV.org. Charter Channel 11/Verizon Channel 34 provides general interest programming, Charter Channel 12/Verizon Channel 33 broadcasts town government programming, and Charter Channel 13 /Verizon Channel 32 features school programming and high school sports events. The Grafton Community Television studios and offices are located at 296 Providence Road in South Grafton.
