Over 80 Percent Of Grafton Without Power

Thousands in Grafton are in the dark Thursday.

GRAFTON, MA – An especially heavy snow in this newest nor'easter has caused power problems for multiple communities across the state, including Grafton.

By 7 a.m. on Thursday, 6,777 customers were without power in Grafton, marking 81 percent of those served in the town, according to MEMA.

More than 300,000 power customers were in the dark as of 1 a.m.., according to the Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency. Patch will be updating power outages throughout Thursday, so check back often. Southern Worcester County and the Merrimack Valley are seeing the worst of it.
