Pumpkin Carving Contest to Benefit the Community Harvest Project
Perro Shotokan Karate is hosting a pumpkin carving contest to benefit the Community Harvest Project. The contest is open to all!

Join the fun on Thursday, October 22nd, from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM, at Perro Shotokan Karate for the Second Annual Pumpkin Carving Contest! Create your pumpkin masterpiece for a good cause! Carving tools and markers will be provided to craft your work of art. The pumpkin carving contest will support the efforts of the Community Harvest Project in North Grafton, and 100% of the profits will be donated to the program. The entry fee is $5 per pumpkin (free pumpkins while supplies last). The first place winner will receive a bag filled with Halloween treats and a gift certificate for three months of karate training. There will also be prizes for the second and third place winners.
How the contest works! Visit the dojo at 135 Westboro Road, in North Grafton, on Thursday starting 6:30 PM to make your pumpkin carving creation. Spend about an hour working on your pumpkin, and at 7:50 PM a mystery judge will decide on the first, second and third place winners, and will then place ribbons on the winning pumpkins. Prizes will be awarded at 8:00 PM, then participants can take their pumpkins home to display for Halloween! For more information visit the Pumpkin page at the Perro Shotokan Karate website.
