VENTURE FORUM HOLDS NETWORKING AND GAMING PROGRAM

Worcester, MA (Sept. 22, 2015) – The Venture Forum, a Worcester organization dedicated to launching and growing successful tech businesses, will hold its October program on Tuesday, October 13th from 5:30-8:30 pm at Clark University, Tilton Hall.

October’s program is titled “Bringing the Passion and Loyalty of Gaming to your Product or Enterprise: What Games Teach Us About Engagement”. The program will delve into “gamification” concepts, and how these elements are being applied to everything from creating an engaged community to enterprise software.

The program will feature gaming experts and entrepreneurs who will be sharing their knowledge and experience. October’s program will feature Monty Sharma, managing director of Mass DiGI as the keynote speaker. Ryan Canuel, co-founder and CEO of Petricore, Inc, Jennifer Streck, marketing manager at Attunity, Jeremy Kaufman, professor of business at Bryant University, and Chuck Rose, research staff member at MIT Lincoln Laboratory will also provide presentations. Program attendees, who can range from gamers, entrepreneurs, and investors, to customer service reps, managers, app developers, and more, should leave feeling confident in their abilities to apply gaming elements to their own business ventures for maximum effectiveness.

For non-members of The Venture Forum, the event will be priced at $15 in advance and $25 at the door. For The Venture Forum Members and students, the event is free. Students are required to register in advance, and College/University ID will be requested at check-in. There will be a $5 registration fee for student walk-ins.
