Senator Moore and Harrington CEO Ed Moore Mark Upcoming Opening of Remillard Family Emergency Department at Webster Campus

The ceremony included remarks from Ed Moore, Senator Richard Moore, Jim Waddick, and Bill DuPont, as well as a 14th birthday celebration for Zack Urbanowski, whose life was saved at the existing Emergency Department.

After the ceremony, guests including public officials, donors, and hospital employees, toured the state-of-the-art emergency facility and enjoyed refreshments.

The new 13,000 square foot Remillard Family Emergency Department at Webster features nine private treatment rooms, including Cardiac, Trauma, and a Negative Pressure room; a separate ambulance entrance; psychiatric emergency evaluation rooms; expanded registration area, and a private family waiting room, among other enhancements. The Emergency Department, named after Arthur Remillard, Jr., who pledged a generous $4 million matching gift on behalf of the Remillard Family Foundation, is planned to officially open to the public this December.
