Monday Essentials: Sign up for Scouts, Phase II of Brick Program for Mill Villages

1. This week offers the last opportunity to sign of the Grafton Girl Scouts. A sign up session on Thursday focuses on new Daisy Girl Scouts – girls entering Kindergarten and Grade 1.  There will be an activity for girls while parents learn more about troop availability and volunteer opportunities. You can also register online. 


2. The Fisherville & Farnumsville Streetscape Committee announced the second phase of the commemorative brick program for the Mill Villages Park in South Grafton. Donors can purchase bricks which can be inscribed with a message of their choice. There is no limit on the number of bricks that can be purchased. The bricks will be installed in Spring 2014 as part of the Memorial Plaza located at the Park.  

3. The Senior Center always has a full calendar of events, with this week's activities including zumba on Wednesday and movie of the month on Friday. 

4. The Party in Pink charity event will be held at at Dance Soul Motion on Saturday, Sept. 28. Raise money for breast cancer research.
