SVTs Announce New Trail Guide: '40 Walks West of Boston'

As part of their 60th anniversary celebration, the Sudbury Valley Trustees put out a book that every local hiker ought to have on his or her bookshelf (or in a backpack).

Trail Guide: 40 Walks West of Boston is now available, and details trails on the Trustees’ reservations and conservation areas, as well as other nearby open spaces, including in Grafton.

This comprehensive guide is 100 pages and contains 38 detailed maps that reach into 26 towns in the area. It offers directions to access points, history of the land, notes about natural features and wildlife (what birds will you see out there on your walk?) and a lot more. The directions also have QR codes that can be scanned by smartphones for GPS guidance. Fancy.

The book is $15.95 and you can order it online or pick it up at the Trustees’ office.
